Kris's knowledge of local wildlife was excellent.

We greatly enjoyed stocked and immaculately clean rooms and superb food.

That was incredibly beautiful hotel set in easily accessible area, just off nature, wild life and the best staff and service and the lagoon. The room we had included a minibar, an individual safe, and coffee/tea making equipment. The bed was comfy; and there was a tub.

The hotel is family-friendly with a great service, it has a great location to the Mayan ruins of Lamanai.

Consider taking a guided night walk to spot unique wildlife, as the sightings can be thrilling and provide a nice experience during your stay.

Chan chich lodge is a gem in the rainforest. The family cottage was spacious, offering comfort among fine surroundings. Excursions with kris were a highlight, as he shared his vast knowledge of the local flora and fauna with humor. Meals were delicious, especially the fresh tortillas and local specialties.

The family cottage was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing environment amid the beautiful grounds. Delicious homemade corn and flour tortillas complemented the hearty meals, while the fresh water pool with a waterfall was a refreshing spot to unwind. Although the wildlife sightings were exciting, there were instances when there was limited help with organizing excursions, which could have enhanced the experience further.

The guided excursions were a joy and made our jungle adventure nice. We especially loved exploring ancient Maya ruins and birdwatching! The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was great. Enjoying the tranquil pool and the fine views really boosted our energy levels and helped us relax.

One downside was the dining pricing detail. It wasn't clear that we could order items a la carte. It left us a little confused at first about what to expect.

This place suits me perfectly, offering amenities like free wi-fi, outdoor swimming pool, and horseback riding. I highly recommend taking guided excursions.

Every moment at this hidden gem was pure bliss! The excursions with Kris, the naturalist guide, were not just educational but infused with warmth and humor, made learning about the local flora and fauna lovely. And let's talk about the food, the homemade corn and flour tortillas paired with fresh pico de gallo were delicious!

The lodge was such a natural retreat, completely immersed in the lush scenery. The fresh local produce at mealtime added a good touch, though I wished there were more organized excursions to explore the area. Relaxing by the refreshing pool while enjoying the surroundings was a highlight.

The naturalist guide, Kris, was a highlight, sharing his extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna with warmth and humor. I also enjoyed delicious meals that included freshly. The tranquility of swimming in the freshwater pool added to the relaxing vibe. The only improvement could be a more extensive evening activity schedule.

A Hidden Paradise for Nature Lovers!

Our family cottage offered a perfect home base amidst vibrant wildlife. The grounds were a marvel, filled with fine plants and the sounds of nature all around. Morning walks with knowledgeable guides revealed amazing sights. Be sure to savor local dishes. Fresh tortillas were a highlight! Bring binoculars for birdwatching!

The setting was AMAZING, next to different areas of the estate like the farm, the ruins and jungle roads and wildlife.

Wonderful staff, lovely grounds, informative farm tour, great communication skills, conservation efforts.
